    What if Moffat wrote an episode where The Doctor met Conan Doyle and it was one of those inbetween times when he didn’t have a companion, so him and Conan Doyle have an adventure together and afterwards Conan Doyle chooses some of The Doctor’s attributes and creates Sherlock Holmes. Because didn’t Conan Doyle always say that he saw himself more as Watson?
